Do you think three glasses of wine a night is too much to drink?
I drink three glasses of wine a night, alone, by myself, at home. I do this every night & get buzzed from them. I’m on meds for bipolar, anxiety & depression, also. I get drunk about once every two months. I’ve been in outpatient rehab and clean and sober for 17 days now. I’m DYING for a drink, seeing alcohol in technocolor. Am I an alcoholic if I drink three glasses of wine a night? Thx!
Usually you’re not suppose to drink alcohol with your meds, but that’s your decision. Congratulations on your 17 days clean and sober. Were you suppose to NOT drink while on this program? If so, then you shouldn’t have any drinks whatsoever. If you’re ok with the drinking, then I think one glass a night might be best. If you feel you can’t do this, and MUST have wine every night, or MUST have three glasses a night, then you’re an alcoholic. Try to reduce to one a night. And don’t take it automatically. Wine has a lot of medicinal properties, but only in moderation. Moderation is key. Remember, you get one single body, ever. You must listen to it, and respect it. If your body is tired, let it rest. If your body gets sick, find out why and make proper modifications. Over a period of time, things add up it shows. It shows on the outside, and on the inside. Respect yourself. If you feel you have thoughts that compel you to drink, figure it out. You can escape reality by watching a two hour movie at a discount theatre too. Be well.
Glass not a problem a Box is extreme.
I’m not sure why you keep asking this question. Normally, I would say no. 3 glasses are not a lot but if you are self medicating due to depression, than it’s a problem.
